It’s no secret that the modern world as we know it has become overrun with greed, filth, and crime. It’s in the way we live, the air we breathe. We’ve all accepted it for so long, and know that there’s nothing we can do about it. We’ve tried, unsuccessfully, many times over.
However, we don’t posses werewolf or vampire strength, let alone do we even fully comprehend either, and especially not the power of the elementals. The problem occurs, though, when you have to wonder if they’ll help or hinder the situation we’re currently in.

The year that the myths and fables became fact was 2001. Before then, they’d simply
lived in the shadows, watching, waiting for the day when they could stop being fiction and come out from hiding.
It was prophesized that the world would see its end after man reigned for 2000 years. That wasn’t quite the case. Man’s reign would end, but their arrogance led them to believe that the world must surely end if they no longer ruled. The supernaturals had other ideas.
It was time for them to come forth and end the madness and fill the hole we had dug for ourselves. Unfortunately, as with any ruling party, things haven’t gone smoothly. Instead of working together as a superpower, they’ve fought now for six, long, torturous years with both the reluctant humans, those not so keen on giving up their crown, and the other supernaturals.
Life goes on, and most of the fighting is in the dark of the night. Many aren’t even aware of what goes on, though these creatures are no longer the secret they once were. Many more walk the planet now, live lives as humans, as members in the society they wish to rule.
It’s only a matter of time, though. You should never cut the supports out from under the structure.
